FAQS

Do you accept insurance?

We are considered out-of-network (OON) providers, which means we don’t bill insurance directly but many of our clients receive partial reimbursement through their insurance plans. We’ll help you navigate this by providing a superbill and, during your initial consultation, our Matching Specialist can look up your OON benefits to give you a clear picture of your coverage.

We welcome DC residents who may be experiencing financial hardship due to job or resource loss. We offer sliding-scale options through our advanced graduate-level interns. Our goal is to make care accessible without compromising quality.

Working with an out-of-network provider means your therapy isn’t limited by insurance company requirements. As a private practice, we’re able to focus on your goals, not just a diagnosis or a treatment timeline. This gives us the flexibility to offer personalized, holistic care at a pace that’s right for you.

Another important benefit: greater privacy. Because we don’t submit claims directly to insurance, we’re not required to share your personal information or clinical details unless you choose to. You stay in control of your care throughout your treatment.

Many people have out-of-network (OON) benefits and don’t even know it. During your initial consultation, our Matching Specialist will help you determine your OON benefits so you know what to expect before committing to an appointment.

If you have out-of-network (OON) benefits, we’ll support you through submitting the provided paperwork (superbill) to get reimbursed for your sessions. We can also connect you with a trusted app that will submit the paperwork for you.

We accept credit/debit cards, and HSA/FSA accounts. Ask us about sliding scale options and therapy with our supervised interns–-ensuring flexible payment options for your convenience and accessibility.

Yes, many therapists offer sliding scale therapy based on access to resources. Limited spots are available, so be sure to inquire about availability. Our supervised interns, who are learning the most current approaches, are also available at a lower rate.

Therapy session rates typically range from $175–$250 for a 55-minute session, depending on your therapist’s experience and specialization. Intern sessions are offered at a reduced rate. Once matched, you’ll receive a Good Faith Estimate outlining your expected out-of-pocket costs for the year.
