Therapeutic Approach
My work is grounded in trust, collaboration, and authenticity. I support children, teens, and adults in understanding their emotions, building resilience, and reconnecting with what matters most.
With younger kids, I use play therapy to meet them where they are because play is their language. With tweens and teens, I focus on helping them navigate friendships, big emotions, and identity with curiosity and confidence. For adults, therapy is a space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and shift out of survival mode into a more intentional way of living.
I draw from a range of therapeutic tools including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and play therapy. Together, we’ll explore how your past and present experiences shape your thoughts, behaviors, and relationships, and develop practical strategies for change.
Background
I’ve worked as a school social worker and an elementary school teacher, so I understand the emotional load educators and caregivers carry. I also know firsthand how powerful therapy can be. I started my own journey as a teen navigating depression and ADHD, and I remember what it felt like to be truly seen and supported.
That experience sparked my passion for creating a safe, validating space where clients of all ages can feel heard, explore their emotions, and grow with confidence.
