Therapeutic Approach
I work best with individuals who describe themselves as anxious overthinkers, perfectionists, or people who feel stuck in self-critical loops. My therapy style is grounded, warm, and collaborative, providing a non-judgmental space where you can turn inward with curiosity and compassion.
For individual clients, I use a blend of Internal Family Systems (IFS), Bowenian therapy, and somatic mindfulness to help you slow down, build insight, and develop a gentler relationship with yourself. My goal is to help you feel more centered, confident, and connected, especially when life feels chaotic or relationships feel strained.
For couples, I use IFIO, the Gottman Method, and systems-based work to illuminate conflict patterns and create space for both partners’ voices. Whether you’re navigating long-standing arguments, intimacy issues, or relationship ruptures, we’ll work to rebuild trust, enhance communication, and move toward greater emotional safety and mutual understanding.
Background
Before joining Kennedy Counseling Collective, I trained in both individual and couples therapy with a strong emphasis on attachment, systems thinking, and relational repair. I have a particular passion for helping clients explore the intersection of identity, emotion, and meaning, particularly in the context of religion or spirituality.
My work is especially meaningful to those in high-conflict partnerships or individuals working through anxiety, self-doubt, or emotional overwhelm. I’m here to help you move from self-blame toward self-trust, and from disconnection toward more grounded and authentic relationships.
