You are the expert on your experience, so only you can be the author of your story
My therapeutic philosophy is that each individual has all they need within them to succeed, but often we need support to bring these skills to the surface. Taking a strengths-based and solution-focused approach, we will identify your goals and work through the barriers to achieving them together whether that is depression and anxiety, stress, trauma, or executive function challenges. My style is warm and accepting yet accountability-oriented. My office is a safe space for BIPOC, queer, and neurodivergent individuals as identity exploration is a large part of my approach. I believe you cannot know what you need without first knowing who you are and why.
I pull from multiple modalities including trauma-informed care, CBT/DBT, and solution-focused therapy. Together we will challenge self-limiting beliefs and replace unhelpful coping behaviors with ones that promote growth. In my work with teens and young adults, I serve as a guide through the transition into adulthood, establishing healthy family dynamics while fostering independence. With parents, I will coach you on how to shift interactions to increase a secure attachment and bond more easily with your child. Wherever you are beginning, I look forward to walking this journey together and learning together who you are and what you are capable of.
