In my work with clients I pull from my background in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help you hone your coping skills to better manage uncomfortable aspects of your life. We will plan for a future leading to a greater alignment with your values – finding concrete, practical steps to be taken towards shaping a life of your own design.
In working with men and male identifying people, we can address issues such as sexuality, body image, self-esteem, challenges with emotional intimacy and forming meaningful relationships.
I also support clients with chronic pain and other complex illnesses to strike a balance between how to live in a way that feels meaningful while also being mindful of your body’s limits.
In my work with highly sensitive or creative/artistic personalities, we can spend time defining your value system for what constitutes an engaged, well-lived life while navigating the tensions of others’ expectations of you.
