Sometimes we get stuck in patterns that we have outgrown or that prevent us from living the life we want. You may know there’s a better way to move about the world, but you need some help getting there. Together, with you as the driver, we will explore those patterns, learn about their origins, and develop new ways of thinking, acting, and living differently. I use a variety of therapeutic techniques suited to your particular needs, helping you to develop insight, change patterns, gain agency, and move toward healing. You can expect me to listen attentively , to be a calming presence, to challenge unhelpful patterns, and to always value your outlook and experience.

Sometimes, the unhelpful patterns we find ourselves in are due to traumatic experiences, grief and loss, or because we’ve internalized others’ stories about ourselves. Stress from living in a prejudicial and unjust society can have a negative impact on our well-being and functioning, especially for those who are underrepresented. Together, we can rewrite your story in your own voice to reflect who you want to be and what you value.
