I work with individuals navigating a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, challenges with emotional regulation, social skills, stress, and life transitions. For older children, tweens, and teens, virtual therapy offers flexibility, fitting seamlessly into busy schedules filled with school and extracurriculars. Many feel more comfortable opening up from the familiarity of home, allowing for deeper engagement in therapy. In our virtual sessions, I create a supportive space where younger clients feel at ease to express themselves, using conversation, interactive activities, and creative expression to build a strong therapeutic connection.
I also provide insight-based support for parents, collaborating with you to explore your emotions and parenting patterns while helping you problem-solve parenting challenges. Together, we focus on emotional regulation—both yours and your child’s—so you can respond with calmness rather than react out of frustration. I encourage connection before correction, strengthening your relationship with your child as the foundation. By understanding behavior as communication, we can uncover underlying needs and foster more effective, compassionate interactions. I also support you in collaborative problem-solving, setting boundaries with empathy, and encouraging your child’s autonomy, all while practicing self-compassion in your parenting journey.
My background as a teacher and school social worker gives me a deep understanding of the stressors educators and school staff face. I offer a compassionate space to process these challenges, explore the impact of workplace stress, and develop strategies to improve emotional well-being both personally and professionally.
